The Regent’s Park Estate is changing. For the next 15 years the estate will be at the center of the one of largest construction sites in the country. Building a New High Speed Rail station at Euston and widening the approach to the station means some blocks on the estate are being demolished. To rehouse the people affected new blocks are being built across the estate, many on former gardens and playgrounds.
On top of this Camden Council are planning more housing for the estate as part of their Community Investment Programme.
This Forum is a place where local residents and groups on the estate can get together and discuss what is happening and what these changes mean.
The forum has members sitting on multiple HS2 and Camden liaison groups.
Through the Forum local people can and do influence the way HS2 and Camden implement their projects.
